About project
For us, ZFF (Zagreb Film Festival) is the most important urban cultural event in Zagreb and beyond. We wanted to strongly associate the design with the city after which the festival was named, and give it a hint of humor and nonchalance which visitors know it by. Sending Zagreb statues, the symbols of the city, to the festival, seemed like an ideal way to accomplish those goals. We also noticed that popcorn bowls suit them bizarrely well – so we wasted no time.
The idea is so mundane, bordering on silliness, but so endearing that one can forgive the simplicity. :)
